还记得前段时间柯洁落败阿尔法狗时，童鞋们热烈建议拔电源么？英国航空公司最近就出了这么一档子乌龙。由于承包商意外关闭数据中心电源（shut down of power supply unit），英航被迫近取消了公众假期周末期间从伦敦的希思罗和盖特威克机场出发的所有航班，大约75000名乘客受到影响（这些可怜人的假期……）。虽然目前事故仍在调查中，但据悉本次故障应是人为错误而非设备故障。因为若是设备故障会自动触发备用电源（backup power supply），像英航如此大规模的企业具有完善的事故管理系统（incident management system），却一个应急方案都没有启用，所以业界专家普遍认为是承包商的员工拔了电源（blamed this power fiasco on staff blunder）。英航被指责为削减成本外包IT工作，间接导致了此次事故。目前估计英航此次需支付的赔偿金可能高达1亿多英镑。
